Welcome to HumanFace. These terms are short on purpose — we'd rather you read them than scroll past them.
What HumanFace is
HumanFace is a social accountability app built on a simple promise: someone cheers you on. You add the people in your life, note what you're cheering each other for, they say yes once, and a small daily cheer travels between you — with an optional ❤️ back when it lands. There is no public feed, no comments, and no public score — support only, by design.
Health and safety
HumanFace is not a medical or healthcare service. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor health conditions, or provide medical, psychological, or emergency advice. Do not rely on HumanFace for healthcare decisions; contact a qualified professional or local emergency services when appropriate.
Your account
Your account is tied to your Apple/iCloud identity. Your profile (name, handle, photo, bio, location, and links) is visible to people on HumanFace. The promises and cheers between you and another person are shown only to the two of you. You can delete your account and all of this data at any time (Settings → Delete account); deletion is permanent.
Your conduct — zero tolerance
HumanFace exists to cheer people on. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, impersonation, spam, or using support to demean rather than encourage. General cheers use a curated palette; only a person you've connected with can send short text or voice cheers. Profiles and individual cheers can be reported, and any person can be blocked. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that break these rules — without refund where the law allows.
Blocking & reporting
Blocking someone hides their profile and cheers from you permanently and ends any connection between you; they are not notified. Reporting sends the content to our moderation queue. Misusing reports to harass others is itself a violation.
Your subscription
Cheering the people you care about is free, always — every wave, no limit. Being cheered on is free with your first supporter. HumanFace Supporter opens your circle to everyone who wants to cheer you, and adds voice cheers, the full cheer palette, every photo look, and your complete cheer history. It is available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Where a plan includes a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless cancelled before the trial ends. Your local price and any current offer are always shown before you buy, in your own currency. Purchases are handled through Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; you can manage or cancel anytime at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. A lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. Use of the app is also subject to the standard Apple EULA.
Content license
You own what you post. By posting, you grant HumanFace a license to store and display it to other users as the app requires — nothing more. When you delete content or your account, that license ends and the data is removed.
The boring but necessary part
The app is provided "as is" without warranties; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — counsel to complete]. If part is unenforceable, the rest stands.
